Archa Joshi is a first generation South Asian-American actor and performer based in New York. Along with her training in acting, she is a classically trained Kathak dancer for over 16 years. Archa has also trained in music and other dance styles including Bhangra, Lavani, Bollywood, and Swing.

Archa had the honor to perform alongside her gurus and internationally renowned dancers - Aditi Bhagwat, Prashant Shah, and Guru Syed Asghar Tirimizi. She has also had the great honor and pleasure of performing in front of late-great Pandit Jasraj.

In addition, Archa was a Spring 2019 core member of Kalakars, an artistic collective where she collaborates with other South Asian artists to tell and nurture stories. She is always eager to collaborate and create.

She is inspired by her family, especially her grandfathers. She gets her love for learning and courage for trying new things from them. Each year she tries to learn at least one new skill; over the years, she has acquired skills in several instruments, in different dance styles, in kickboxing, and in the aerial arts.

Throughout out her upbringing, Archa loved performing. But being South Asian, she had the pressure to major in business or science. However, she couldn't let go of her passion for  performing and storytelling. This lead to Archa graduating from the University of South Carolina (go Gamecocks!) with a BS in Marketing and Management with a minor in theater.

When Archa isn't doing what she loves, she is traveling,  reading (she loves herself some Marvel comics and WEBTOONs), learning new skills, baking, writing, and hanging out with her amazing friends.
