Napoleon Bonaparte! Marie Antoinette! -- Cinderella?   If you think modern life is challenging, follow the rags to riches Cinderella story of Hortense de Beauharnais, survivor of the French Revolution, stepdaughter of General Napoleon Bonaparte, and student at MADAME CAMPAN'S ACADEMY, where her classmates include Napoleon’s detestable sister Caroline, and Eliza Monroe daughter of the future US president. Survival, music, art, war and romance fill their days at MADAME CAMPAN’S ACADEMY.   

Lynn Marie Macy (Playwright): Recent productions include The Color of Vengeance at New Perspectives Theatre and The Surprising Measure of Buried Treasure, Sister Resisters and The Couch Potato & The Armchair Activist with The Theater Project, Four Seasons at  the NJ 1 Minute Play Festival, Lady Susan, A Jane Austen Bodice Ripper (Reading, Theater 2020), Doubt & Deliberation (Reading, Theater for the New City) Productions: Northanger Abbey, A Romantic Gothic Comedy (Distilled Spirits, Blue Room Theatre & Theater Ten Ten). Published by New York Theatre Experience in Playing with Canons, Explosive New Works from Great Literature. Resident Playwright Theater 2020, NYC. Ms. Macy was thrilled to have her script Vile Things in Dark Corners performed live on Zoom with The Theater Project and the Cranford Library in April.
